Edmund Roy Lodge (Roy) buys a hot dog stand on Atlanta Broadwalk. When he is off duty, turnover decreases.
He employs a friend to visit the stand in his absence, undercover: temporary staff were concealing sales and stealing cash. Roy
develops the first known Test Purchasing service and goes on to protect major US store groups.
1961
He expands Security Services and sets up International Operations
Roy dies and John takes control. He starts to expand the security services and opens companies and offices in Ireland, South Africa, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
