Now employing more than 2,000 staff Internationally, Lodge Service provides security related services across Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Austria, the Republic of Ireland and has further offices spread over mainland Europe and South Africa
Edmund Roy Lodge (Roy) buys a hot dog stand on Atlanta Broadwalk. When he is off duty, turnover decreases.
He employs a friend to visit the stand in his absence, undercover: temporary staff were concealing sales and stealing cash. Roy
develops the first known Test Purchasing service and goes on to protect major US store groups.
He expands Security Services and sets up International Operations
Roy dies and John takes control. He starts to expand the security services and opens companies and offices in Ireland, South Africa, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
John Lodge, with daughter Nicola Barrell, starts React Surveys.
Lodge launches Investigations Division, with covert cameras and monitoring, vehicles’ surveillance and a team of some 30 undercover UK operatives.
